Scholarships for Laptops

Empowering students with laptops going to college today is a worthwhile investment into the future. Highlighted below are several scholarships that offer a laptop to students going to college.   1. The Teradatariver Scholarships for Laptops is a competitive scholarship requiring applicants to write a 500-1000 word essay describing which laptop they would purchase if they won $1000.00, and why they would choose the laptop. Laptop Scholarship for College Students is open to all students in higher education.
  2. The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill offers laptop grant opportunities for students enrolled, however, if a student terminates their attendance at the school, they must return the laptop or make compensation for it. The CSS Profile Laptop Grant Carolina Computing Initiative must be completed before the financial aid deadline.
  3. The Dell Scholars Program offers laptops within the scholarship program Scholarships aren't just for Tuition To qualify, students must complete an approved college readiness program, earn a minimum of a 2.4 GPA, be eligible for a Pell Grant and enroll in a full-time bachelor's degree program immediately after high school graduation.
  4. The Apple Scholars program Apple Education Foundation offers high school seniors tuition grants, free Apple Nano iPods, and laptop computers to take to college. 
  5. The Laptop/iPad Award is an offering at Indiana State University for students completing a minimum of a college prep curriculum and who have a high school cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher based on a 4.0 scale.   7. Intel's Science Talent Search awards high school students a laptop for college and money after producing innovative mathematics and science projects demonstrating their technical ability.   8. The Chickasaw Nation Laptop Scholarship is available to members of the Chickasaw Nation. Full-time students who are sophomores or higher and maintaining a 3.0 GPA are eligible to apply for the laptop scholarship.
